Question
We saw a problem with X8STE-O during power up where system starts, then stops and then starting again.

When I plug-in the power cord (or turn-on the electric-power feed from its button), the problem occurs.
If I reboot the machine without plug-out the power cord (or turn-off the power feed), everything is fine.
But EVERY TIME I plug-out/plug-in the power cord (or turn-off/turn-on the power feed), the problem occurs.

Answer
System is restarting due to incomplete QPI initialization.
Force the QPI speed down to 4.8GT/s in BIOS.

BIOS setting:

Advanced Chipset Control-->QPI and IMC Configuration-->QPI Frequency [4.800 GT]
