Question
I have a X7DWE motherboard with Intel Heatsink and Fan (4-pin). On some occasions when the OS does a restart the BIOS setting for the CPU fan will change from “4 pin server” to “3 pin server” and the fan spins at a higher speed. Any suggestions?

By referring to the data-sheet of the fan, we found out that this 4 pin fan cannot respond to our PWM control quickly. Please try the attached BIOS (X7DWE428.zip) where we have changed the delay.
