Since it is not possible to put 2 IB switches in the Blade system and keep the CMM module, do you know when the CMM Feature embedded in the IB switch will be enabled?
The design of the IB switch originally anticipated addition of a special “mini-CMM” to go inside it and allow for two IB switches per Blade Chassis. This turned out to not be practical so there is, as you note, no way to put 2 IB switches in the Blade system and keep the CMM. The chip we used initially also was two-port. We have since released the one-port version and we are about to release a one-port version using the ConnectX chip for Tylersburg Blades.
At this time there is no plan to enable the CMM feature embedded in the current InfiniBand switch.
