Question
I have a workstation using a X8DAI motherboard. So far I have installed a graphics card on a PCI-Express slot. Now we want to install a Intel Xeon Phi Co-Processor. For this I need large base address registers (BAR). I could not find anything in the BIOS. So the question is, if this motherboard is eligible for running with a Intel Xeon Phi Co-Processor.

Answer
With the new Intel Xeon Phi Co-Processor is require X9D series motherboard that had Intel C602 chipset. The X8DAI motherboard with Intel 5520 Chipset does not support Intel Xeon Phi Co-Processor.
