Had a problem with the AOC-SG-i4 and its driver e1000e-0.4.1.12.tar.gz. I have follow the instructions in the readme file and had verify the modules e1000e.ko is inserted into the redhat. the card does not work with RHEL5.2 x86-64. What could be the issue?

The LAN chip is 82576, therefore you should install igb driver, not e1000 driver. You may refer to driver release note for detailed instruction and information on which chipsets driver to use.
