Innovations

  • Open architecture including a flexible AIOM slot (supports OCP V3.0 SFF cards), OpenBMC firmware and CRPS
    For better flexibility, all MegaDC servers support open standards including OpenBMC for customized control over functionality and versioning, Advanced I/O Modules (AIOM) that support OCP V3.0 SFF cards, as well as common redundant power supplies (CRPS) in 2U systems.
  • Multi-tiered storage architecture with patented internal cable management design

    The 1U dense storage system is a versatile compute and storage platform featuring multiple tiers of cold, warm and hot storage in a 1U space optimized for maximum cost-effectiveness and efficiency:

    • Hot Storage: Intel® Optane™ DC persistent memory and front hot-swappable 7mm NVMe
    • Warm Storage: Front hot-swap 7mm NVMe and/or internal hot-swap SAS3 SSDs
    • Cold Storage: Internal hot-swap SATA3 SSDs/HDDs

    The 1U Storage Drawer also features our patented internal cable management system that increases system reliability, speeds up system deployment and maintenance, and reduces cabling and rack hardware costs.

  • Optimized support for multi-GPUs configurations

    The MegaDC 2U GPU server is a flexible high performance computing platform in a 19" form-factor that supports multiple double-wide and/or single-wide GPU configurations for Cloud Gaming/AICAN, AI Inferencing, VDI, and many more applications. For example:

    • 4 full-length, double-wide (x16) GPU cards for general-purpose GPU, Cloud Gaming, and AI applications
    • 4 full-length, double-wide (x16) GPUs and 2 low-profile, single-wide DPU cards for AICAN
    • 6 single-wide GPU cards for Machine Learning applications
  • Highly modular hardware design that allows for more storage, more PCI-E, and more I/O
