I have a SC836E26-R1200 chassis and would like to add in a x9drd-7ln4f-jbod motherboard. That is an E26, *not* BE26 variant of chassis. Will the x9drd-7ln4f-jbod work in the E26?

If not, are there any replacement parts or cables that can be purchased to bring the SC836E26-R1200 chassis to a state that the x9drd-7ln4f-jbod will be compatible?

SC836E26-R1200B should work with X9DRD-7LN4F-JBOD. It does not have extra two rear drive bays but has 2 expanders (which you can choose to use expander 1 only for example) compared to SC836BE16 chassis. For example, SSG-6037R-E1R16L consist of SC836BE16-R920B and X9DRD-7LN4F-JBOD.
