AMD Security Bulletin AMD-SB-3033, August 2026
Supermicro is aware of a potential vulnerability in SEV-SNP that could potentially enable arbitrary code execution on the AMD Security Processor under certain conditions. This vulnerability affects BIOS in Supermicro H12, H13 and H14 products.
Findings:
An arbitrary code execution flaw was identified on the AMD Security Processor (ASP) that could be re‑exposed by rolling back the firmware to a version predating the 2024 security patch. The attack requires physical access and falls outside the SEV-SNP threat model. AMD is providing defense-in-depth mitigations for this issue.

Remediation:
- All affected Supermicro motherboard SKUs will require a BIOS update to mitigate this potential vulnerability.
- Updated BIOS firmware has been created to mitigate this potential vulnerability. Supermicro is currently testing and validating affected products. Please check Release Notes for the resolution.
