What’s the procedure of the firmware recovery? Answer Below is the firmware recovery procedure for your AOC-USAS2LP-H8iR controller. Please use MegaRec to perform the firmware recovery. Please obtain MegaRec utility from the following download link: https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SAS/LSI/2008/iMR/Firmware/Non_Blade/USB.zip. Extract the utility and put it along with the 8MB firmware ROM file into a folder in a bootable USB flash drive. The 8MB ROM file can be download from https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SAS/LSI/2108/Firmware/. Please boot to DOS with the USB flash drive, and run the 1st command: "Magarec -adplist" This is to confirm the MRCard ID number. The first card’s no. = 0. Now, run the 2nd command: "Megarec -m0flash 0 AF_210~1.rom" Please use dir command to find out in DOS the actual filename of the 8MB ROM file, first. Do NOT interrupt it or restart the server.
