When I turn my Supermicro system on, the fans only move slightly and then stop. I have to wait another 20 mins before I can get this movement again, but the system never comes on. What can I do to fix this?
Normally, this is from an overloaded power supply that shuts itself down for protection. Please remove all connections from the power supply except for the motherboard. Wait 20 mins and try again. If this fails, please remove the motherboard from the chassis. This is usually caused by some device or motherboard itself is shorting to ground.
