I have a Promise SC6000 RAID card and put in P4DP6 board. When drives are attached via the RAID card, the system will hang at POST. What causes this issue and how to fix it?

Answer
First, please make sure that you have updated your board's BIOS with the latest version from our Resource Page. Second, please go into BIOS setup, under Advance Setup menu enable PCI slot bus master setting of the PCI slot in which the Promise SX6000 is seated.
