Frequently Asked Questions
How do I access the Startup Accelerator platform?

Please fill out the application form. Once your application is reviewed and your access is scheduled, you will receive a confirmation email with a web link for you to get started. We will also provide a Getting Started Guide for your smooth onboarding process.

How many sessions can I have open at once?

For the systems with built-in web console, one SSH, one VNC, and one IPMI Web session can be opened simultaneously.

For systems allowing direct SSH access, you can create multiple SSH sessions with your own SSH client, such as Terminal or PuTTY.

What happens to the server after I am done with my scheduled access period?

The server is manually and securely erased; the BIOS and firmware are re-flashed; and the OS is reinstalled with new credentials. Therefore, please back up any data such as test/validation results and benchmarking data before your access expires.

Is the server on a public IP address?

A public IP address is available for select systems. When you apply, please indicate that your assigned system requires public IP directly connected from your software (e.g. direct SSH connection from your Terminal app).

In all other cases, the server can reach out to the Internet to get files, but it is not directly addressable from the Internet.

Should I load and process sensitive data on the platform?

No; processing sensitive data on the platform is expressly prohibited. Please refrain from using sensitive or confidential data – we strongly recommend using only anonymized data since the server may have different security policies than are required within your organization.

If we leave data on the server, will it be backed up?

No, we do not back up your data. Servers are wiped and reset after your session period expires, and no backups are made. Please refrain from storing important or sensitive data on the demo platforms. It is essential to understand that data retention is your responsibility, and it is crucial to clear any data you input before the end of your access period.
