I bought a new X7SPA-H Rev. 1.01.
As soon as I switch on the power, there is a constant beep and the overheat LED is on. Based on the manual this means overheat.
Since it immediately starts too beeps, even when everything is cold, what can it be?
FYI: I tried a second power supply, with RAM or without, always the same beep.
Would be great if you could give me guidance on what causes this problem.
Can you try to CMOS clear procedure?
Steps to perform a manual CMOS clear:
1. Remove ALL power from system
2. Remove Mainboard BIOS battery
3. Shot the 2 metal connections on the battery socket with a metal tool for ~5 seconds
4. Re-insert BIOS Battery and restore power to the system
