We found out in IPMI KVM firmware 3.29 and above you use stunnel, why did you add stunnel to IPMI KVM?

Stunnel is a proxy with OpenSSL, we add this mechanism for security in new firmware.


After firmware 3.29, it might not work with ssh TCP port forwarding because the first thing it tries is traffic to UDP/623. Nor will it handle for a dynamic TCP port later on. Tech Support suggests customers launch KVM through IPMIView or SMCIPMITool (cmd).
