AOC-S3108L-H8IR-16DD


We have had to RMA our AOC/BTR twice recently due to a failure relating to those parts. We are looking to understand what exactly is causing the parts to fail, as we have the server setup and are not confident enough in it to use it in production at this time.
What do we need to do to identify the issue and prevent it from occurring again?

You may want to set fan mode at Heavy I/O and monitor temperatures of system and AOC during test run.
Full Speed – Maximum cooling
Heavy I/O – Boost cooling to the add-on card zone
Standard – Provide standard fan speed
PUE – Lower fan speed and power consumption


The AOC temperature got up to about 45 Celsius when using the Heavy IO setting.
The AOC temperature got up to about 55 Celsius when using standard setting.
