Question
We are experiencing a recurring issue with servers using the Supermicro SMC2108 RAID controller. During a reboot, the controller is sometimes no longer detected by the system. If we fully power off the server and leave it turned off for about two minutes, the controller appears again and the server boots normally.  While reviewing your support materials, we found the following instruction:
“firmware version first update to version 2.120.243-148. After update is finished you can update to the latest firmware version. You can find the LSI 2108 Firmware on our FTP https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/SAS/LSI/2108/Firmware/”
However, this address is no longer available.  Could you please let us know whether there is an archived repository, legacy download location, or another official way to obtain the required firmware files for this controller?

We are specifically looking for:
the intermediate firmware version 2.120.243-148
the latest supported firmware version for the Supermicro SMC2108
any related update instructions, release notes, or required tools for the upgrade procedure
