I just bought an X7DVL-E and cannot get hardware RAID to work with Red Hat enterprise Linux 4 update 3. I’ve tried everything, read all the manuals - could you please assist me?

The X7DVL-E motherboard with the Intel ESB2 South Bridge SATA controller does not support RAID under Linux OS. Intel does not support any RAID drivers for open source operating systems.
