The Micro Code Update Tool is to address CVE-2017-5715, CVE-2018-3639, CVE-2018-3640, CVE-2018-3615, CVE-2018-3620 & CVE-2018-3646 security vulnerabilities in processors. The correct CPU microcode, that will be loaded, depends on the CPU installed into the system. If a new CPU is replaced, the microcode must be flashed again with this utility.
