Question
I have AOC-SAS2LP-H8iR in 6027R-TRF and install Ubntu 14.04 LTS 64bit.

During installation it could see the raid volume as SCSI(2,0,0) (sda) 2.10TB SMC SMC2108, but when it finished and restarted the server I got this error "attempt to read or write outside of disk 'hd0' entering rescue mode".

Do you think it's RAID controller issue?

The error is about Ubuntu partition problem. Please allocate a small /boot partition at the beginning of the disk to resolve the issue.
