Question
We have CSE-835TQ-R920B with X9DR3-F:
We have same failure on 3 motherboards report back from RMA RI151007076. (VDDQ-GH NO 1.5V OUTPUT. U70 BAD) Could this 1.5V output be regulated from power supply of the chassis ? Could we have a bad power supply from the chassis, or bad power honest cable plugged on to motherboard ? Is this the time for us to replace the power supply or the chassis or we just unluckily happen to receive a bad batch of motherboards (6+). We just try to find out whether we are having a bad chassis with bad power supply. Thank you for your support.
Answer
For CSE-835TQ-R920B, please contact RMA and request RMA to RMA all PDBs rev 6.3 and select cross ship PDB-PT825-8824 rev 6.4 as replacement.

If your PDB revision is 6.3, it will cause the same problem—so if you have PDB version 6.3, DO NOT install the motherboard, until PDB changed to rev 6.4.
