Question
I recently swapped the E5-2670v1 with an E5-2650v2 in one of the systems, and it continued to work fine. The second board, will not boot with the E5-2650v2 but works fine with the E5-2670v1. BIOS are updated to the latest version I can find, v3.2 (03/04/2015). this is the same version that the other motherboard is running, though I'm thinking the other motherboard is PCB rev. 1.20A, instead of 1.10 like this board. Is the rev. 1.10 boards capable of running a v2 chip?
Answer
Your X9DR3-LN4F+ serial number yielded the ECO level is 14870 which will not work to support Ivy Bridge CPU. You may request RMA to have the motherboard rework to latest ECO level to support Ivy Bridge CPU.
