Why is CBL-PWEX-1040 only 5 cm?  Is it too short?

CBL-PWEX-1040 is for converting the power distributor board's one 8-pin power connector to one 6-pin and one 8-pin power connector for commercial GPU. Since the power distributor board already has cable long enough to reach the GPU section, 5 cm is enough for the purpose.
