We have the plan to upgrade the HDS-2TD-MTFDDAK1T9TCB1AR SSD's Firmware on MegaRAID controller (Board X10DRH-CT), I got an error server IPMI stated that one of the SSD disks failed frequently and suggested from Micron support team to upgrade the firmware from U037" or "U042". Can you help to provide the SSD FW download/update procedure?

The 2.5" SSD was Micron standard 5100 series, please find the following F/W package which officially released by Micron on 2018/3/9. Soft remind, to avoid the potential risk during FW update process, we'll suggest to backup all the data on the SSD or virtual disk group before you start upgrading the SSD firmware.

Firstly you need to install Micron Storage Executive, then press Firmware updates.

Choose File:
5100_D0MU042_Releasefullconcatenatedbinary.bin
Press "Update FW Now".

All the SSDs in your system configuration will do a firmware update, please fully backup your data in the SSDs before you press the update FW button.
