I would like to ask
can Supermicro motherboard X10 drhc  able to boot system from NVMe
connected by pcie carrier board or some similar way?

Yes the NVMe can be
used on X10DRH-C to boot system if the NMV2 has its own OPROM. If you are using M.2 NVMe SSD without Option ROM, NVMe cannot be used as boot disk in X10DRH-C.
