Question
I'm trying to install Windows 2000 on the SuperWorkstation SW7033A-T. The installation went well without any noticeable trouble, but when the installation completed, I noticed there're some unknown PCI devices in the Device Manager. Then I installed the Intel INF Chipset driver, but the same unknown devices are present in the Device Manager. I have successfully installed the LAN driver, AGP driver and SATA driver. Did I miss anything? The driver CDROM Disc I have is CDR-INTC Rev 1.22.

Answer
Please download from our web site an updated version of the Intel INF chipset driver 6.3.1.1004 and install it. After you install this INF chipset driver, all unknown PCI devices will be correctly recognized by Windows 2000. The INF chipset driver can be downloaded at:

https://www.supermicro.com/wdl/driver/Intel_INF/Chipset_v6.3.1.1004/.
