SYS-421GE-TNRT3; GPU’s are failed in slots 5,6, and 7,8. PCI-e slots 7,8 were where the bad card was in, swapped to 5,6 and still showed same behavior.
I would have to open server to get tag information of cables, but since it’s a production server I was not able to provide that info.
I tried swapping positions of GPU but would Freeze up system within 5 min of uptime so removed bad GPU card.
This SYS-421GE-TNRT3 supports 8 GPUs, while those SLOT 5/6/7/8 are NOT connected.
GPUs/AOCs are supported in slots 1/2/3/4/9/10/11/12 ONLY.

FYI,
Please note that system SYS-421GE-TNRT3 only supports 8 x GPUs/AOCs.
- There is no switch chip, for PCIE slots, integrated in this system
- Slots 1,2,3,4,9,10,11,12 are those only usable slots in TNRT3 since it’s direct connected.
