Question |
I have a system with multiple CPU's installed. Is there a way we can turn ON/OFF a CPU via the BIOS and not to physically remove a processor? |

Answer |
We do not have a BIOS setting that can disable a CPU. However, you can disable CPU cores and enable them again when needed. The BIOS would still detect all the CPU's but would disable half the available CPU cores.
This setting is available on Phoenix BIOS platforms under Advanced --> Advanced Processor Options --> Core-MultiProcessing --> Disable. |
