For the X11 DP motherboard with the nVidia display card, such as GTX1080 or Quadro, for the video output display, used in RHEL/CentOS 7.5 OS system, I experienced a halting issue after the driver was patched and blacklisted for nouveau. The message says:
"Error parsing PCC subspaces from PCCT". How can I resolve this problem?
To patch this problem, you will need to disable the onboard VGA with JPG1 from
1-2pin(enabled) to 2-3(disabled). The display will go to offboard settings and
you'll also need to ensure the VGA priority is configured to offboard values as well.
