Question
When attempting to install Ubuntu 24.04 (or later) on X14SAZ-TLN4F/F, X14SAV-TLN4F/F, X14SAE-F, or X14SRA-F the screen goes black after the OS loads, and the GRUB menu does not appear. How to solve it?

Answer
The serial ports and SOL (Serial over LAN) functionality on these models will not work by default after installing Ubuntu 24.04 or later. Please contact Supermicro Technical Support for a workaround.
