[디지털데일리 이상일기자] 슈퍼마이크로컴퓨터(이하 슈퍼마이크로)가 업계 첫 차세대 낸드솔루션(PCIe) 5세대(Gen5) 드라이브 및 컴퓨트 익스프레스 링크(CXL) 모듈을 지원하는 고성능, 저지연 E3.S(EDSFF, Enterprise & Data center SSD Form Factor 3인치) 스토리지 솔루션을 처음으로 선보인다.
AS-2125HS-TNR is an AMD based storage-oriented platform that focuses on the compute. Going from Milan to Genoa, we moved onto PCIe Gen5 and DDR5 memory, so we doubled the amount of PCIe bandwidth that we have. We also have 128 lanes between the two CPU sockets. The fourth high speed GMI link between the sockets is much appreciated. The system has a simple but very effective mechanism for routing cooling the CPUs. DDR5 memory; however, is using a bit more power than the last generation of DDR4.
