FatTwin™ Server Solutions

The new generation Supermicro FatTwin™ is a high-density 8/4 hot-plug node SuperServer® system available with a variety of memory capacities, HDD technologies, PCIe alternatives, networking capabilities, and GPU support options. At the heart of the FatTwin are serverboards which are optimized for diverse and intense workloads. These boards support up to: 3TB DDR4-2933MHz ECC memory in 12 DIMM slots per node with support for Intel® Optane™ DC Persistent Memory, 1 PCI-E 3.0 x16 and 2 PCI-E 3.0 x16 Micro LP card, 10 ports of SATA 3.0 (6Gbps) with Intel® C621 controller, redundant Titanium Level (96%) Digital power supplies, integrated IPMI 2.0 with KVM over dedicated LAN, and dual 2nd generation Intel® Xeon® Scalable Processors with up to 28 cores and 165W TDP.

The FatTwin can be configured and optimized for a variety of environments and use cases which include Enterprise, Data Center, Cloud Computing, HPC, Financial, Science and Engineering, and File/Storage Servers.
