Perfectly streamlined for the BigTwin, the Supermicro NVMe M.2 RAID Carrier Riser Card AOC-SMG3-2M2-B features 2 M-key connectors for 2x M.2 NVMe SSDs. This carrier card integrates a RAID controller to provide mirror RAID protection. With HW RAID1 support, this new M.2 carrier is intended to offer another layer of redundancy for M.2 SSDs, typically used for OS support. This space- saving solution helps maximize the OS reliability and performance. It delivers a cost-effective and reliable OS solution with NVMe SSDs.

  • Marvell 88NR2241 NVMe RAID Controller M.2 Carrier riser card for X12 BigTwin®
  • Supports x2 M.2 M key connectors for the following length:
    • Top side: 80mm
    • Bottom side: 80mm or 110mm with OEM SKU support (Please contact your Supermicro Sales representative for more information)
  • Each NVMe M.2 SSD links to a full x2 PCI-E Gen3
  • Supports RAID 0,1
  • Supports onboard activity and status LEDs for each M.2 SSD
  • Gen4 x16 PCI-E slot riser card function
  • OS Support: Windows, Linux, and VMWare
  • Thermal operating range: System dependent (55°C or higher w/ enough airflow)
