The included air shroud with the 6047R-E1R24L does not seem to fit for a dual CPU configuration, even with the extendable B part (SC836 MCP-310-39003-1N) fully extended (if the B part is extended all the way, it is no longer supported by the A part (SC846 MCP-310-49005-1N). It cannot be configured to shroud the rear CPU and provide proper air ducting for proper cooling when two processors are installed. Any solutions?
For this server SKU user doesn’t have to install part B on the air shroud. The CPU is close enough to the fan so there is no need to use the air shroud to guide the air through the heat sink. You can use the server safely with just the main part of the air shroud installed.
